We show up.
Our brand line, chosen August 2026. Here is what it means, why it holds up, and how to use it.

The idea
Genius builds a world class Point of Sale and payments platform. We are the ones who come through the door.
Restaurant technology does not fail politely at 10am on a Tuesday. It fails during service, on the busiest night, with a line at the register. In that moment nobody cares whose logo is on the terminal. They care whether somebody picks up, and whether somebody comes.
That is the whole business. Our technicians drive out. Our trainers answer three months later when a new hire is confused. Our phone is answered by a person at 2am, every day of the year. We have been doing it since 1991, and it is the reason customers stay decades.
“We show up” is not what we sell. It’s what we do.
Why it works
Four reasons this line earns its place.
It is true before we say it
Most taglines are an ambition. This one is a description. Every customer who has had a tech in their dining room already knows it.
It cannot be done from a distance
A platform can be world class from anywhere. Showing up cannot. That is the half we own, and this line plants a flag on it.
It works on us too
It is a customer promise and an internal standard at the same time. Did we show up? There is no arguing with the answer.
It is short enough to survive
Three words fit on a truck, a shirt, a business card, a hold message and a homepage. Lines that need explaining do not last.
Did we show up?
This is the part that matters most inside the building. The line is not marketing we hand to customers and then forget. It is the question we get asked about our own work.
Did we show up?
When a job goes sideways, that is the question. Not whether the ticket was closed inside SLA. Whether somebody actually came, and whether the operator felt it.
If we ever have to argue about whether we showed up, we did not. That is the useful thing about it: the answer is obvious to the customer, so it should be obvious to us.
How to say it
Three written forms. Use the shortest one that fits the space.
| Mark | We show up. Use alone wherever space is tight: apparel, vehicle, signage, social. |
| Lockup | We show up. Your local technology partner since 1991. Use where the brand needs introducing: web, print, proposals, email. |
| Long form | We show up. We stay. Use where retention or long relationships are the point. |
Write it flat. Keep the period; the period is the confidence. No exclamation point, no adverbs, no intensifiers.
Write it in sentence case, with the period.
Let it stand on its own. It does not need a sentence explaining it.
Back it with something specific: 1991, 24/7/365, on-site, by name.
Use it about our own work, not just in customer copy.
Soften it into “we’re always there for you.” The verb is the whole point.
Add an exclamation point, or stretch it into a paragraph.
Set it in an accent color, or in red. White, Global Blue or black only.
Say it about a job where we did not.
Where it sits with Genius
We sell and support a global platform and back it with a local team. The line does not compete with that. It sits next to it.
Genius is already on it.
