What is specific to Portland
No sales tax removes one headache and leaves the interesting ones. Oregon rules on tips and service charges still have to be handled correctly, and if your house pools tips, the system should do that arithmetic rather than a manager doing it on paper at midnight.
Portland kitchens change menus constantly, and more seasonally than most markets we work in. If editing a menu means opening a support ticket, the menu quietly stops changing. We build so your own people can change it the same afternoon they decide to.
