Do you work in Las Vegas?

Yes, regularly. We install and support restaurant Point of Sale systems across the Las Vegas valley, and most of our work here is off Strip, in the neighbourhood restaurants that serve locals rather than visitors.

What Vegas operators need from a system

A lot of rooms here never really close. When you run late night or 24 hours, end of day becomes a genuine design question rather than a checkbox, and reporting that assumes a tidy midnight cutoff will misrepresent your numbers. We set the business day to match how you actually trade.

Volume is the other factor. Throughput comes from kitchen routing and order flow far more than from adding terminals, and that is a menu build problem, not a hardware problem.

Las Vegas runs around the clock, which changes what a Point of Sale has to survive. There is no quiet window to take a system down in, so updates, menu changes and shift closes all have to happen while the room is still trading.

Convention weeks are the other pattern. A room can go from ordinary to full for four days and back again, and the staff working those days are often not the staff who were trained in the spring. A system a new server can learn during a shift is worth more here than almost anywhere.
